KLEKSI offers a convenient DAM / file manager (Digital Asset Management) with which you can archive folders, files, images and videos in a way you are used to. Upload files with drag & drop from the explorer of your PC or the finder of your Apple device. After you have uploaded the files to the file manager, you can retrieve them at any time and via any device and process them with your object.

KLEKSI supports any format and extension in the DAM (provided it is considered safe). The original file is stored safely and redundantly by KLEKSI and remains untouched at all times. It is possible to link metadata to each file. This works on the same principle as the objects. This makes it possible to realize the interface of the metadata yourself. For the images, a more efficient version is stored for the web, which keeps loading times and data consumption as low as possible. This more efficient version is also stored separately, which means that the original file remains untouched.

KLEKSI tries to simplify the use of files for the user. Therefore, the user does not need to know the formats or extensions because KLEKSI accepts everything or converts it automatically.


Smart / Intelligent Storage
KLEKSI uses intelligent storage, which makes a clear distinction between your original files and the files generated within the system. This ensures that data traffic during use, for both you and your visitors, is kept to a minimum.

Original files are only needed at the moment you add them to an object. They are then stored untouched in your DAM or File Manager and can therefore be stored more efficiently, at a lower cost.

However, the files generated within the system must be continuously available and are actively used. This means that they incur slightly higher storage costs, but because these files are very small, the costs remain minimal.
