Eindhoven Museum has chosen KLEKSI. The condition is that some new functions are added that are not only interesting for the Eindhoven Museum but also for other museums.
After thoroughly researching all collection registration systems that are currently available and inviting all representatives of these systems, the Eindhoven museum is pleased to announce that the choice has been made for the new collection registration system KLEKSI. With an official assignment letter, the Eindhoven Museum has commissioned KLEKSI for a number of additions that have been agreed upon. If the desired additions are met on 30 July 2022, the Eindhoven Museum commits itself to implementation in accordance with the quotation offered by KLEKSI. In total, the Eindhoven Museum wants to house 25,000 objects in KLEKSI. The new additions that the museum wishes and has agreed with KLEKSI are:
- A handy way to make bulk changes, e.g. change stations in 1x or change collections
- An extensive search function
- An ability to create externally invisible lists of objects
- An option to export to csv/excel > be able to select relevant fields
- Procurement function, namely: adherence to agreement (word/pdf/jpg)
- Loan function, namely: adherence to an agreement (word/pdf/jpg); contact details of borrowing party; append list objects;
These functions and additions will also be available from 1 August for all other museums that want to manage their collection(s) with KLEKSI.
