The Digital Heritage Network (NDE) kicked off the new year with a sparkling event in the historic setting of Stadshaven Brouwerij in Rotterdam. The highlight of the evening was the introduction of the new chairman, Eppo van Nispen tot Sevenaer, who took the stage together with a passionate team of data cleaners. This event offered not only a moment of festive celebration, but also a preview of the promising goals of 2024.
The new objectives for 2024 were briefly explained in four passionate presentations. The NDE has set its sights on further digitization and improving access to our cultural heritage. A crucial part of this strategy is the deployment of data workplaces and a team of dedicated data cleaners and digital heritage coaches. This combination promises not only a more efficient and streamlined digitization of our heritage, but also improved accessibility for a wider audience.
As a participant in this inspiring event, we at KLEKSI would like to express our sincere gratitude to the organization of the NDE. It was an honor to be involved in this important step in the heritage world. Together we are taking good steps towards a future in which our cultural heritage is not only preserved, but also vibrant and accessible to everyone.
