Today and tomorrow, on November 3 and 4, the fifth edition of the Museum Vakdagen will be organized, the professional trade fair for the Dutch and Flemish museum sector. During these days, Sofco will introduce its product KLEKSI to museums and heritage institutions for the first time.
Exciting, because museums and heritage institutions have never been able to get acquainted with KLEKSI before. "We are very curious about the first reactions and what questions will be thrown at us," says Maurice van Kessel, CEO at Sofco. "It is the first time that we are present at a trade fair and we have been working hard on KLEKSI in recent months to meet the requirements of the DERA. We are looking forward to it! At the same time, it is also interesting to see which other exhibitors are present at the trade fair and which products are offered for museums and heritage institutions. A great opportunity to get acquainted with fellow companies within the sector."
More than 50 exhibitors will present themselves during the Museum Vakdagen. Visitors will find the latest possibilities and solutions, be informed and inspired by the many experts and discover which innovations can be of significance for their museum or institution. The common thread during the Museum Vakdagen is knowledge transfer, which is why an interactive and educational conference is linked to the Museum Vakdagen. During the conference, current events in the museum world will be addressed.
After the fair, Van Kessel concludes that, despite the disappointing number of visitors due to corona, the fair was a great success for KLEKSI. "We received a lot of attention, our stand was continuously well visited. We made a lot of contacts and even planned appointments with interested parties. The reactions were very positive and complimentary, so we are very satisfied".
