Extensive search function

KLEKSI is equipped with an extensive and very user-friendly search function.

Generate lists

Generate lists for internal use, for exhibitions and/or researchers within your organization.

Set up columns

Determine the columns of your lists, objects and those of the lists that are exported in Excel or CSV.

Export lists for (internal) use in Excel or CSV.

Bulk changes

Make bulk changes to 1 or more fields within your entire collection or just part of your collection.

Add dropdowns

Create your own dropdown. Handy if you work with a lot of volunteers and don't want writing errors to be made.

Loan function

Manage the objects that you have on loan from third parties or that you have on loan from third parties.

Spectrum compliant

KLEKSI is Spectrum compliant and contains all necessary functions, object types and input fields that are important for Spectrum management.

Hoot! An AI-powered helpdesk for system usage, object information and object descriptions. Hoot is developed based on ChatGPT.

Clone / Duplicate

With just a few clicks you can create an identical copy of an existing description or of an object in your collection.

Basic features KLEKSI collection management system

Persistent identifiers

With the help of a durable persistent identifier, your digital object will always remain available online at the same location.

Linked Open Data (LoD)

KLEKSI is equipped with Linked Open Data. With the help of LoD, your collection is more useful because the information is interconnected.

Terms Network

As a collection manager, you must provide your material with unambiguous terms. KLEKSI is linked to the NDE Terms Network.

Unlimited (sub) collections

In KLEKSI you can create unlimited collections and unlimited subcollections.

Topics, object data and object types

With KLEKSI you determine the object types and the object data that you want to manage.

DAM / Filemanager

KLEKSI offers a file manager where your original files are stored. You can upload unlimited files by simply drag-and-drop.

Image editing

KLEKSI offers a handy image editing tool that allows you to save an edited version of your original images.

Responsive

KLEKSI is responsive, u kunt dus werken vanuit een pc, laptop, tablet of smartphone. KLEKSI past zich aan elk type apparaat automatisch aan.

QR-code

KLEKSI automatically generates a QR code for each object, useful for your depot but also for your visitors.

DERA compliant

DERA stands for Digital Heritage Reference Architecture. KLEKSI complies with the DERA and is in line with the NDE objectives and infrastructure.

Features standard KLEKSI frontend

KLEKSI offers standard a frontend, with which your visitors can search your collection(s) on your own website with a handy search and filter option. It is also possible to develop a custom frontend for you.

Frontend

The KLEKSI frontend is user-friendly, beautifully designed and can be easily implemented in any (existing) website.

Zoom function

KLEKSI's zoom function allows you to quickly zoom in on huge images because the images are divided into squares on the fly.

Elastic search

KLEKSI features an advanced search functionality based on 'Elasticsearch' Elasticsearch stores, searches and analyzes large amounts of data quickly, in near real time.

Set filters

Decide for yourself with which filters and in which object data your visitors are allowed to search your collection(s).

Accessibility

For people with a (visual) impairment, the title, subtitle and description of your objects are automatically converted from text to speech by KLEKSI.

SEO, search engine optimization

With KELKSI, your museum or heritage institution is also found at object level via your website.
